About the CST
What is it?
The California Standards Test (CST) is an annual exam used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards. The CST is one of the five components of the STAR Program.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students are assessed in grades 2 through 11 in English language arts and math, in grades 5, 8 and 10 in science, and in grades 8, 10 and 11 in history/social science. In grades 9 through 11, students may also be assessed in math and science, depending on course enrollment.
How is it Scored?
Students receive one of five ratings: far below basic, below basic, basic, proficient or advanced. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level.

What is it?
The California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) is used to measure student mastery of specific skills as determined by the state. Students must pass both sections of the exam in order to graduate from high school.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Each student is assessed in grade 10 in English language arts and math. Students can retake the exam up to five times after grade 10.
How is it Scored?
The CAHSEE is an untimed pass/fail test. The goal is for all students to pass both sections of the test.

I think mission bay high is a okay school, but at some point is not that awesome. Some of the teachers there lacks of and some of them do care about what student need to work on. I think the teachers their shouldn't be giving work to students and let them do it my their self. they should work on to and find out the answers not just give the students the answers.

Mission Bay High School
Mission Bay is not a school that I would recommend to anyone, the counselors are the worse i have ever seen, i have seen the administration go into the computer system and swap grades around on a students transcript because the counselors have failed to do their job so you have seniors at this school who was told they are on track to graduate to only find out halfway through the school year that they are missing some classes that are required to graduate from mission bay. Things are not sone according to the ethic rules of the school district, the teachers don't care about the students and the administration are liars.

Mission Bay High School
Im a senior at mission bay high and i just have to say that i love this school. The teachers are wonderfully prepared and the athletics are amazing. i reccomend this school to anyone who wants their son or daughter to be a great person in and out of school. i have enjoyed my 4 years here and i hope this encorages parents to sent their children here.
