Oak Park is a wonderful school. The school is fortunate to have a wonderful staff of administrators and teachers. I also believe that the students have a wonderful opportunity by having the chance to learn how to play instruments and gain vocal instruction while attending school. I think that it is great for them to have this as part of the curriculum and gives them a chance to be successful in music and in their education. I had a child graduate from Oak Park after attending the school for 4 years and I am grateful that he had this great opportunity to be taught by the wonderful teachers here at Oak Park. I currently have a 1st grader attending Oak Park and he is enjoying his time there. He has a wonderful teacher that I am grateful for that has kept his enthusiasm at a high level for learning. I am awaiting his opportunity to become involved with an instrument or vocal training. Overall, I am glad to be a part of the Oak Park family.

I think Oak Park is a great school! My son has been attending since kindergarten and is now in 5th grade. In addition to being provided with a quality education, all students also receive music/instrument instruction since Oak Park is a music magnet. It is a great opportunity that most elementary students do not receive. I also appreciate the ethnic diversity of the school and feel that this has been a wonderful environment for my son. Finally, I have enjoyed being a part of the PTA and feel that it is very welcoming to everyone who wants to be involved. I think that the staff and parents together create a real sense of community at Oak Park.
