Shoal Creek Elementary School Reviews
This is a good school. Both my kids attend Shoal Creek and we have been very happy with the teachers. The review from March 23, 2010 sounds absurd. If you walked on this campus, and spent anytime in the classrooms you would know that it is a safe place where good things are happening. It is disheartening that one reviewer can cut down all the hard work those working at Shoal Creek are doing. I am speaking about the volunteers as well as the staff. The volunteers at Shoal Creek are the parents. There is heavy parent involvement at the school. All the teachers are open to parents in their classrooms, and appreciate the help they give the students. It sounds as though the reviewer from March 23, 2010 didn't volunteer, judging by their review. Nor did they spend enough time on the campus. If they had, they would have had a different opinion about the school.
We love Shoal Creek. The teachers are top notch.
This school is fantastic. All three of my children have attended Shoal Creek and were given a high quality education by caring and dedicated professionals. The teachers are great and put in more time and effort than I could have ever imagined. I have always felt that I could approach a teacher at any time to ask for advice.
One of the worst school. The staff are very rude to the kids. If you are lucky you might get a good teacher one year or two. Childern do not get treated equally. My childern have been going to this school for the past 3 years. Every year their lunch have been stolen, they have had serious injuries at the play ground simply because no one is watching them. The staff and volunteers have been very mean and yelled at them without any good reason. The volunteers use bad language and treat kids and parents very bad and get away with it all the time.....!!!, because...the poway school district does not have a clear guidelines for volunteers actions ...!!. The traffic in this school is unacceptable... At this point I really believe that the leadership at this school is the biggest issue, because overall situation has gone from being good to bad to worse......I am taking my kids out of this school. Please do your research before enrolling your children in this school.
