3 Stars for now

I loved this school.  I have 3 girls that have graduated from this elementary school.  It was a drama and dance magnet.  Students have the opportunity to learn about and participate in classroom and school plays, talent shows and dance productions.  They've danced in parades, in front of the San Diego Unified School Board, at the Children's Museum and performed for sororities and fraternity benefits.  Great teachers and Mr. Andrew Gergurich was the BEST principal ever!  I have to say--- The new principal is not as welcoming or friendly and it's quite obvious that the new principal caters to the hispanic population. The vibe in and around the school has definitely changed. And the scores have dropped.  I'm not sure about the future of this school but I'm glad my girls are out and they were there during the best of times.  Good Luck Valencia Park.
