My child is attending kindergarten in the fall. Everything is going smoothly so far. However, the staggering system definitely needs to be reevaluated. Parents should be given an option to select the stagger that works best for their schedule and their child's well being. Why the school will not give this option to the parents?
Summerdale is okay, but definitely very chaotic. Their pickup and drop off procedures are in need of some major organization. Classes were realigned after several weeks and many children were moved to different classes or schools. I brought concerns to a teacher and was yelled at. The principal was not very helpful when concerns were brought to her attention either.
Summerdale Elementary School is the best school in the area!
I like the activities and the programs that Summerdale provided for my kids.

Summerdale Elementary School is a great school with smart teachers and many ways of teaching students the ways of being in the next grade level.
