Saddleback Valley Christian School is located in San Juan Capistrano, CA. It is a private school that serves 757 students in grades PK,K-12. Saddleback Valley Christian School is coed (school has male and female students) and is Christian (no specific denomination) in orientation. The school belongs to the Association of Christian Schools International.
This school's practices are not by any means '"Christian". The administration hold favoritism towards their own children and other faculty members' children, or anyone who donates a pretty penny to the school. If you don't fall into any of those categories, you will be treated horribly. Even worse, if your child is better at athletics or academics than the faculty's children, yours will not be awarded for his/her accomplishments. Instead, they will give their own children the award. It's so disgusting how the school is run. If they find one reason to be jealous of you, they take it as a threat and will do anything and everything possible to make the duration of enrollment miserable. It is a family-run cult, that is so fake and materialistic it's sick. The education is a joke as well - as they hire their own sons and daughters to "teach" the classes (and coach the sports), when they aren't even licensed to. Teachers who give faculty members' children a low grade BASED ON TRUE PERFORMANCE in classes, will not get their contract renewed, because they feel their kids should automatically pass and get straight A's. It's very suspicious how the faculty's children or rich kids are ALWAYS the ones getting on "honor roll" and "student of the year" and "principal's list" as well as getting granted the highest scholarships out of all the students. Same goes for discipline - faculty's children are frequently the ones breaking the rules and never getting repremanded for it (i.e. ending up druggies getting sent to rehab or getting pregnant then "married" really quick to make it look like they didn't do it out of wedlock). If you are thinking about sending your child to SVCS please SERIOUSLY reconsider. I BEG YOU!
