I am very upset at how this so called system is suppose to be helping children with learning difficulties. My daughter is constantly crying out for help from teachers and counselors and she keeps getting Do it yourselve you'll get it. I thought this school really had an plan in place for IEP students but i see there barely running this by the seat of there pants. I am DISGUSTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Allowing her to get this grades without making sure she has the knowledge needed to progressive to the next level. Thanks a lot for ALL THE HELP.

amanda: they call parents if your child was late for a few minutes.. but they will not tell you or inform you if your daughter is not doing well at a certain subject..they have this school loop that they put on the childs grades that is not even updated.... i do not know if i can recommend them to others....

The campus is untidy. When I visited for parent night there was a lot of trash. The teachers my child got are very racist. Now, I'm not saying that all the teachers are. One teacher told me that my child should do better because he's Asian. I also feel that this school is unsafe. My child gets bullied often for his medical issues. He comes home crying his eye outs almost everyday. The teachers don't care and the counselors don't help. My child said that the teachers often call him a liar and a crybaby. My poor child! This is why I transferred my student to Washington Manor and he's been making a lot of friends there. His test scores got higher too!

My son transferred to Bohannon from a private school at the beginning of the 2009 school year. Going into middle school is hard enough for many kids but his transition has been fabulous. We are extremely pleased with the level of education and extracurricular activities. There are no perfect schools, whether private or public, but I think that Bohannon has exceeded our expectations and we are very pleased with the school. The education is challenging and the teachers seem to put in the extra effort to support the students. For years, I had always heard horror stories about this school but I can honestly say that none of those stories have come to pass. Bohannon definitely meets and exceeds our expectations. This is our first time in the public school system and and we could not be happier.
