Mrs. M: I have been an employee of NSM for 9 years now. I was fortunate enough to have my son attend this school for 6 years previous to my employment. The experiences that he had here were phenomenal. NSM prepared him for his next levels of education very well. He is now a 4.0 student at a public high school. I was  impressed with his daily stories of all the new materials that he used to learn lessons. This program is terrific. Thanks to SMFCSD for supporting the program and even now expanding it to middle school.

Three of our grandchildren have attended this school. The school provided them with a wonderful well rounded education. They are now thriving in middle and high school. This school is a well kept secret!

I have visited many private Montessori and traditional programs. Our program, while it may not have as much funding as some privates, is as good, if not BETTER than many private schools. The teachers are dual credentialed with CA certification and almost 100% of the teachers have full Montessori-specific training. Moreover, the children are developing into strong, independent, confident, socially and morally responsible lifetime learners - something that cannot be measured in test scores alone. We have more enrichment programs than most (if not all) other public and private schools. Now with the middle school, we are providing a safe, secure, nurturing environment for our teenagers. Most private and parochial schools understand the value of a small school environment and that is why more schools are converting to K-8th grade configurations. After all, reflect back on your own Junior High School experience, if you were in a stand-alone large middle school, and consider, "do I really want my child to go thru that?"

Charles: The Montessori focus is really exceptional when you consider they have to adhere to CA State standards.

Love this school!  My kids have been going there for five years now and I feel they are doing well because of a Montessori focus combined with a staff that really cares.  In addition, parents are very much involved.
