Montessori School of San Ramon

Anna: My children have atteneded the Montessori School of San Ramon over the last few years (first my son and now with my daughter).  I am very pleased with the staff and the level of education that is being taught.  The teacher's educate the children based on their level and not their age and this is what I have grown to appreciate.  Where my child would be bored in public school, she is thriving in the Montessori methods.
With the Montessori system, my child has been engaged with materials and hands on experiences rather than 'worksheets,' as I have already read.  I am already impressed how my children know so much in terms of plants and animals, maps, and history!
I rarely write reviews, but when I saw the previous comments it saddened me.  This school and their staff has gone far above and beyond what any public school would do and I am always appreciative.  Education shouldn't be based off of how many worksheets a child takes home, but instead their love of school and knowledge.  I highly recommend this school to all my friends/family and recommend it to anyone who reads this!

Carol: My daughter has gone to school here for the past year and is leaving with twice the amount of knowledge that she came in with. I have always been impressed with the teaching abilities of the teachers, their dedication to the children and how much each child has learned and changed. My daughter is very confident  and happy with herself, which is more than I could have asked for from a school. Montessori has been a great experience and my child has flourished because of it. I would recommend this type of education to anyone if they want to see positive education and personal changes in their child.

My son has attended here for the last two years and he has grown exponentially. The Montessori curriculum at this small school has changed the way my child learns and he now loves school and is curious about learning new things all the time. The quality of the teachers and their level of care for the kids has really shown me how great a small school can be. The Montessori method is also a great untapped asset to children, I cannot stress enough how happy I am with the outcome of my child's education as he has tested to be at least 1-2 grade levels ahead of his public school peers. Overall, I am very happy with the level of education and teacher quality provided at this school and would certainly recommend this school to anyone else!!
