Juan Cabrillo Middle School Reviews
Like to see more creative forward-thinking things happening - not just repeats of last year's activities in class and in school as a whole. Would be good day when teacher's don't have to teach to the test.
I have three children who have attended this school for all three years and a fourth in it now. The school makes an effort to keep the 6ths graders relatively separated from the rest of the students, which seems good. I have not met a teacher there that wasn't keen on teaching and there are some that overflow with energy.
The school is next to the Santa Clara Teen Center, and not all Cabrillo students are old enough to use that facility, but the Youth Activity Center is right there, too, providing after-school programs. There is also a nice skate park adjacent to the property on one side and a city park on the other. So it's a nice setting. Traffic in the morning is a mess, but that's not the school's fault.
