About This School
We use classical methods of instruction -- they work. And Concord has remained, and will remain, small by design so that our effect on each student is great.
Concord is truly unique among private schools. There is no bureaucracy. There is no social climbing. There are no cliques.
Over 25% of the student body is on some form of Concord-funded scholarship, given always for both merit and need, but the scholarships are confidential so there are no second-class citizens.
The school is actually a school. There is continuity, because one family, and now one person, guides the school, year after year. There are no hired-gun administrators who come and go with an ever-changing board, wreaking havoc. There are superb, committed, experienced instructors who return, year after year. There is total commitment to the philosophy of the school -- merit and excellence.
We do not dumb-down our curriculum ever. We reward the best students for their work and achievement with the best grades because they earn them. Our process, our grades, the school, are honest. We would not have it any other way.
In 2010, Concord High School had 10 students for every full-time equivalent teacher. The California average is 24 students per full-time equivalent teacher.

Concord High School Reviews
Probably the worst school in Los Angeles county. The children attending this school are delinquents from affluent homes and/or kids who can't get into other private schools in the area due to grades and/or behavior. This was the biggest mistake I could have made in my child's educational life
