As a parent I feel that the new principal should take a really good look at the staff that they have. They have quite a bit of staff that are not their for the best interest of our children. No matter what you tell the administrators about their school staff, they tend to believe their staff and not our children.
What I dislike about this school is how they talk to our children about staff situations without the knowledge of parents. School staff should get parental consent prior to having discussions with our children. It would be nice to at least get a courtesy phone call.
The only reason that I do not transfer my children to another school, is that I do not want my child to go through the experience of making new friends and getting to know new staff. I went through this stage in my life and it was a very negative experience in my life.
I hope that their is improvement this year, and staff are disciplined when they should be. Staff need training in positive communication with children and staff. They also need to be reminded what is included in their job duties, and they need to remember that they cannot be disciplining children. They need to let the principal and learning directors take care of this area.

April T: It is a great school. I have three children that enjoy going to school there and love their teachers.
