The Buckley School is located in Sherman Oaks, CA. It is a private school that serves 750 students in grades K-12. The Buckley School is coed (school has male and female students) and is nonsectarian in orientation. The school belongs to the National Association of Independent Schools.

We interviewed with the Buckley School for our daughter to enter kindergarten. The facility was nice, but the school felt it necessary to tear down much of the upper school and replace it. The cost........50 million dollars. We felt that the exposure that kids get at the school.....arrogance and affluence, were not what our child needed. In addition, the school requires additional donations and lets you know that they often receive 7 figure donations from families. If you want your child to end up like Paris Hilton, an alumnus of The Buckley School, consider Buckley.
I also went to Buckley and loved the school. As the person above said, the teachers really take time to support students who need help. ALWAYS! They are also very accommodating for students with real learning disabilities and teachers take the extra time to help them.

I went to Buckley and it was a FANTASTIC school! The best education I think I could've gotten anywhere. College was much easier compared to the things we did at Buckley. Buckley is known as a college-preparatory school and it did JUST that; Prepare me for college! I would definitely send my kids there! The teacher are soo caring and wonderful! Really took the time to help me before and after class. Great school!
