Temporary Tot Tending-Invernes Reviews
This daycare is fine for younger children (2-4), but for children 4 to 5, it's disappointing. The facilities are too small to accommodate the kind of physically active play that 4 and 5 year olds need. They advertise that they take children age 2-6, but there are very few older children there (my kid was the only 5 year old) and older children have nothing to do there, no one to play with (except toddlers), and are bored doing the "baby stuff". Furthermore, the activities are oriented toward the younger toddlers (the majority), and there is some reluctance/resentment expressed by the caretakers at having to devise separate, more stimulating activities for the older children. It's sort of one-size-fits-all, but at the lowest common denominator. I also think the kids spend an awful lot of time there parked in front of the tv. The caretakers do not communicate effectively to the parents regarding the child's needs, but only give "bad reports" on every little thing. My response to them was: "Is this behavior typical for a child this age? Yes? Then I don't need to hear about it."
