High parent involvement (both time and money) make this school very successful. High academic achievement on CST scores (around 900) and numerous opportunities for the arts; both during the school day and after school enrichment program. Responsive Principal and teachers who care about the students and their education.

Sami: I was at Wilbur for kindergarten through fifth grade and I personally found it to be an outstanding school. The teachers are extremely friendly and a huge help to anyone who needs help in really any subject. The parents are involved and it really feels like your own family. The campus is clean, the principal is fantastic and overall it's really an excellent school. Some of the classes have SmartBoards which are very interactive learning sources. I know that when I went there they offered a variety of afterschool classes and a music class for the fourth and fifth graders. I know several people that were in Play Production and now attend selective preforming arts schools. Everything I learned at Wilbur helped me into one of the greatest schools in the valley and I'm proud to say that Wilbur was my elementary school.

Christian Middelthon: I think it's an amazing school. My son has been attending Wilbur for one year one now and their program far exceeds my expectations. Besides highly skilled teachers, I appreciate the genuine involvement of parents at the school. It gives a sense of community and inherently creates healthy and motivated students that feel their parents care. The school asks for some money. But it's not much and it is voluntary. And I do see where it is invested, such as active learning boards in each class room to improve quality of teachings. So I disagree with the comment above and I'm very happy the money is being put to good use rather than perfecting the exterior.

It has a very dirty campus and seems as if there is no gardner. There is unsafe bike racks, free standing gates, desks, chairs around the campus just thrown in corners the kids can climb on get hurt. This school constantly asks for money. The drinking fountains are filthy. I just do not know where all the money is going.
