I have to tell you what a HORRIBLE experience it was for my for my entire family! My son is 3 and has a hard time dealing with change. I explained this to the director. She seemed understanding. However, the very first week they called me because my child bit a student. My child is not a biter, but I understood why he was being sent home. That same week I got called because he was misbehaving. I explained to Miss Kerry that he was going through a lot of change. She said she understood, but her actions proved she didn't. My son started getting worse and worse and I can't even tell you how many times I had to leave work early to pick him up. I was beginning to feel depressed and began to punish my child. I then realized that since we didn't have this issue at his old school, it could be the teachers. I advised his teacher that I would be looking for a new school. I expected a little compassion since she knew how hard this had been on me ( I had cried a time or 2 before), but all she said "ok, it's worth a shot". His last day I get a call at 9:45 telling me she can't control him, didn't want to get near him and that they had to take all the children out of the classroom. He is 3! I don't understand how the Director never bothered to sit down with me to talk about our issues. They made me feel like my child was a criminal and I'm sure my child felt the same way. He needed guidance and no one there offered him any. I could tell when I picked him that they all looked at us like we were raising a monster. He is now in a new school and on his very first day, they said he was an absolute angel and they didn't see any of the horrible things I had warned them about. Little Oaks has no business working w toddlers especially Miss Kerry! Any toddler will throw tantrums and push your limits! If you have a toddler, do not take him/her there, they don't have the patience or compassion!
