Ascension Lutheran School Reviews
Holy School, Holy Spirit
Superlative in teaching language, music, math, science, drawing, crafting, etc. Mrs. Woods and Mrs. Madrigal are the best teachers to kindergartners in a very responsible manner. Outside the classroom, they also are the same influential persons to parents, in a positive and balanced way.
No matter where you are from --- East, West, North or South; who you are, Christian or Non-Christian, your kids will be treated as the most precious treasures of our world and be made to feel equally important.
The teacher's most cheerful moments are when they see kids make progress, academically, artistically, and spiritually, in big or small steps. Their true love of children and their jobs enlightened their little minds and souls, as well as that of the parents.
My son enjoys making his journal, browsing over his memories book, tasting lemonade and self-baked cookies from Mrs. Madrigal, singing daily songs, and doing limitless activities in classroom. The teachers’ inner excellence and authenticity are bringing success, peacefulness, harmony and all kinds of blessings to my son for his future.
My son always declares at home that ---
“Everyone loves me, the whole world loves me, God and Jesus love me”;
“When Jesus passed by Jerusalem, people wave palm tree leaves and palm tree branches at him, and they lay their coats on the ground ”;
“Mom, I will still forgive you.”;
“Why did the God create sharks?”
“Mom, when you pray, you should say -- Dear God, and Amen”.
This school is becoming a bold school that is incorporating 21st century ideas of teaching while still teaching responsibility, respect and creativity across the curriculum.
Wow! What a great school. The overall demeanor of the school is loving yet focused on education. The staff and leadership are wonderful.
The school has small class rooms which are great for education, involvement and learning. It can not get better.
My suggestion is . . . Do not believe me . . . go talk to them. Visit the classrooms, see the office and ASK QUESTIONS! Wonderful place.
