Joseph Arnold Elementary School Reviews
I love Arnold! My son went to Seaside elementary for the K-1 and this year he is in 2nd grade at Arnold, and I like this school. It is very diverse, people of all nationalities, and the teachers seem to really care about their kids. The one thing I don't like about the school are their rules concerning the children and their playtime. There is no running on the blacktop- which is where the kids play. When my son first began at this school he had detention like three times because he ran on the blacktop!! How do kids play and not run? And they have no tolerance for horseplay, or anything fun it seems like. But I guess they are teaching kids to be serious about safety and that is a good thing. The parent involvement at this school is phenomenal, the teachers again are very involved. I volunteer in my sons classroom once a week, and there are always parents there. One of the best schools in Torrance!
