Pinecrest School - Van Nuys

T. Coyle: I transfered my 5th and 7th grade boys to this campus this year and I am very pleased with the results.  I love the Pinecrest schools and I have been sending both my boys to the Valencia campus for most of their elementary years.  For personal reasons I chose to move their campus location this year and actually looked outside the Pinecrest system in the San Fernando Valley.  I explored several options and contacted parents of children in other private schools but was easily convinced that the Pinecrest Van Nuys campus was an optimal choice with its blue ribbon status and refreshingly dedicated teachers.  I am thrilled with the educational priorities on campus and the demanding curriculum.  I don't want my boys having an easy ride in elementary or middle school only to have them flounder in High School and this school definitely demands their full dedication and effort.  They are very happy with the change as well, which is of course very important.  As a parent who puts education at the top of my list, I give this school an A+.
