Foothill Oak is a good school developing a strong record of progress year after year on the CST. There is a strong desire on the campus to strive towards proficiency for all students. Well trained teachers work as a team to assist every student achieve his or her best. The curriculum and delivery of instruction is a principle focus. SCIOP strategies are incorporated to benefit all learners, especially English learners. Unfortunately, state cuts in the education budget have limited many programs that would normally be alive and well. However, FHO has found creative ways to continue to offer students opportunities for success, such as literacy and math family involvement nights.
