Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran School

This school is a hidden jewel.  The teachers and staff are focused on what is important for our children and make it all fun!  The 6th grade mentors the Kinder-gardeners which... 1)makes older kids responsible for little ones hearts and minds, 2)gives the little ones a sense of security that adults cannot provide 3)generates the community feeling so pervasive in this school.  The education does focus on bible teachings and it allows a great deal of room for other opinions without judgement.  We are a secular family who has been generally opposed to organized religion and this school is quite comfortable.  The focus on education is unparalleled and is without question the base we need for our children to become healthy contributing members to a society which so desperately needs it.  10 out of 5 stars!
