I love Little for my son. Mrs. Baca is one of the best teachers I have ever come across and my son loves her. She works hard with each of the kidos in her class and my son's education level has sky rocketed since the beginning of the year.

Sorry Angela, I couldn't disagree more!!!  The administration doesn't care about educating all children, just the above average children in order to help their CSAP scores.  However, you are correct that this school struggles with diversity and accepting of others and unfortunately Mrs. Valdez is doing nothing to correct the problems.

The teachers at this school work hard to ensure every child is successful.  Everyone works together and deeply care about students and each other.  I couldn't pick a better school to work at.

Angela Lewis: I love what Mrs. Valdez has been able to do at this school. It cannot have been easy to come into a school that struggles in diversity and accepting of others. I wish the teachers all had doubles and maybe some of the complaints and tears I have to hear could have been dealt with at school but I know that isn't possible. Patty is one of the best people there.  If your child starts off there then they have the very best with Mrs.Vann! It would be nice if some of the seasoned teachers wouldn't be allowed to get away with some of the things they do and say but I don't see that being any different at any school! Mrs.Duray got my son into reading when all he wanted to do was look at math questions. Ms.Bell related to my son in a way that made it easier for him to deal with some of the challenges he has faced. Last year they started a reading club for the 1st graders who were not at reading level. They had to come in even earlier to do that.  The teachers and Mrs. Valdez care and thats obvious!

susie: The administration could be better.  If anyone is considering this school for their children I would recommend checking Weber or Zerger.
