Shrine Of St Anne School Reviews
The Shrine of St. Anne School in Arvada is a K-8 grade Catholic school. They have a strong sports and academic history. They do not have a solid arts program. They also have significant issues managing bullying within the school. While their behavior manual says they do not tolerate bullying, they do tolerate it and suggest the child who is bullied to "stand up for themselves." The bullies continue to get away with awful behavior including cheating on tests and harassing children who "ratted on them." Recently, children have left the school because they were being bullied and nothing was being done about it. The Administration at this school has been in office for over 25 years. My assessment is that they are tired of dealing with these issues and would rather let the children fight it out amongst themselves. As a parent, I want to pull my child out of this school just out of the sheer hypocrisy they are demonstrating to the kids. If you have more than one child or have a legacy here, you will get favored treatment. Its too bad this is happening, but it is and therefore, I do not recommend this school.
