St Pius X Catholic School Reviews
A different school
This school has changed dramatically. Money is raised and spent on making it pretty. Instead the hiring of excellent teachers has been replaced with inexperienced mediocre teachers. The middle school math program has failed students reflected by the alumni's inability to test into advance placement classes. Saving the school from closing came at a great cost to the students. Student /Teacher ratio is 28 to 1 in middle school. Few of the schools great teachers remain and are overworked due to all the staff cuts. Communication between parents and teachers has gone from open door policy to unanswered emails. Many larger families with longevity at the school have pulled their younger students and left. The warm loving school that used to be there is long gone replaced by a stricter militia type of school. Some teachers are unapproachable which is a great difference from the past. Pulling out at end of year. The amount if money spent for high ratios just no longer makes sense.
