Aspen Creek K-8 Elementary School

D'Ann Sanko: I was at Aspen Creek on a recent Saturday watching a basketball game in the gym.  Somewhere in the process I lost an earring.  When I returned to see if I could find it, I met the office secretary, the female gym teacher, some of the kitchen staff, and your head custodian.  All were so polite and helpful.  The gym teacher had her students looking under the bleachers, the secretary and food staff gave me leads on whom to contact.  It was the custodian, however, who found the earring at one of the school's garden areas.  He thought he remembered seeing something like an earring near the front of the school.  He walked out with me and, sure enough, there was the very small earing sitting near the front door in one of the garden areas.  I am still amazed he remembered it and was so kind as to look for it.  My grandchildren attend Aspen Creek and I'm so glad they do.
