About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. See Academy Charter School's test results to learn more about school performance.

Academy Charter School Reviews
Good curriculum, but you can find it somewhere else. The Dean and staff appear to think the school is set up for them rather than for the purpose of teaching students. Bullying is a hugh issue. Probably becuase staff think they are entitled.
The school could be a great place, however the Dean and some of the staff are definitely not worried about the children's overall well being. The feel of the school is unfriendly and cold. The curriculum is wonderful my children have used core knowledge since elementary and I have no complaints about the academics. Think twice before committing 8 years to a place that only seems to have one thing in mind...
ACS is a great school. The class sizes are small. They are very focused on academics. The teachers are wonderful! They staff all hold the kids to a high level of behavior and responsibility.
