Jenkins Middle School Reviews
The staff is absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond to deliver high quality instruction that equips students with skills to make them successful in a competitive job market. I am very impressed by the amount of extra curricular activities offered which is an indication of a highly dedicated staff. The school has been a frontrunner around the issue of anti-bullying by promoting kindness and taking a stand against bullies. Show me another school that has done more than this one in this area. The admin and counseling teams are student-centered and go out of their way to support parents. Jenkins Middle School is unique and special.
This rating is so unfair and unrealistic it's sad. This school has gone out of its way to combat bullying. The new principal has made it a focal point for the year and there is a dynamic program in place. The counselors are top notch and Jenkins has a waiting list for students to be admitted from out of the Jenkins area of almost 100 students. They must be doing something right!
Usually when a parent is this bitter, they are not objective. Perhaps if this parent ACTUALLY SPENT SOME TIME ATH THESCHOOL, they would be able to address things from a position of knowledge instead of this sad attempt at a hatchet job.
This school has not done anything against students bullying other students. They take no action against the student performing the bullying. Counselors will talk to the student being bullied, but what really does that show the student being bullied when they take no action against student performing the bullying. Theve even got video of student being strangled and nothing happening to other student. Theve had student attacked in class with teacher present and nothing really happening to student who did the attacking and has a history of doing this to other students.
