Taylor Elementary School Reviews
Dislike the principal and they way she handles the "not perfect" children
I have two children that go to Taylor, they attended half a year last year and a full year this year. Neither my husband nor I really care much for the principal, she is quick to jump in and reprimand your child before all the facts come out and my 3rd grader in her picking post. He is not up to speed with the other kids in his class and we asked to have him held back last year in 2nd grade but they dont do that here, they will just modify his work so he can play catch up, well this is next year, they have modified his work and we have had several meetings about this and he still is not up to his level for 3rd grade and will be moved on to 4th grade. My children will not attend this school next year and I have other parents that feel the same way I do about this school and their children going there.
My daughter is in kindergarten and they have worked with her very well. She looks forward to school every day. I never have to fight her to go. The teachers don't give up on her even though even she is hard to deal with. She is my daughter of course. She is very strong minded and will do what she wants and they worked with her. I am proud of the fact that they have found ways to adjust to her and work with her. Taylor Elementary is a great school.
