Used to be an awesome school, but has declined markedly over the last few years.  A new administrative team is ruining the school and many of the best teachers are leaving.  We moved into the neighborhood just to attend da Vinci, but now we're faced with the prospect of pulling our child out and moving them to another school.  Very sad.

Don't believe the glossy.  The district has abandoned the arts integration mission focus.  Everything that was once good about da Vinci is rapidly dying under the onerous weight of standardized curriculum, standardized test preparation, and a hostile environment set by the new administration. See tdvaparents.org for more info.

"They have a newly built building which is absolutely gorgeous and very well laid out. In general the staff is caring, but firm. Only bad thing is that parent involvement is not encouraged. Yet!!"
