Ricks Center For Gifted Children Reviews
We love this school!!! Fabulous teachers and children who love learning!!!
Avoid Rick's Center like the plague!! Nothing against the parents, kids, and teachers, who are all probably doing their best, but the administration is so warped and fixated on money that it's outrageous. Lots of other people seem to think so, too, as I've heard lots of other parent's talking about their run-ins with the administration. First they tried to stick our 4-year-old son in a 3-year-old class, 2 weeks before school started, after telling him all summer he would be with his own age. They said we should just convince him that was the right class for him. Are you kidding me? What kind of ridiculous manipulative parenting would that have been? Then when we ended up moving out of state for business (before school even started), they kept our (fully-paid up front) tuition for the entire year and refused to refund a dime.
In fact, their only concern the whole time was that we would make our final payments. Not a care in the world for our child or us, but just for their absurd up-front payments. They kept insisting we make our final payment, rather than trying to help. Then they told us we would be refunded since we were moving. Naturally, it took them months to get back to our appeal letter and they said no. If moving for work isn't enough to get a refund, what is? Parents, watch out! There are plenty of better G/T schools in the area, especially over in Jefferson County and Boulder, and I suggest you try those!
