About This School
Alternative schools are public schools that offer nontraditional education for students whose needs cannot be met in a regular, special education, or vocational school. While alternative schools are distinct from regular, special education, and vocational schools in their teaching approach or classroom environment, they can provide similar services and/or curriculum for students. Alternative schools include schools for potential dropouts, residential treatment centers for substance abuse, schools for chronic truants, and schools for students with behavioral problems. Horizons Exploratory Academy Reviews
My hopes and thoughts for Horizons
I really enjoy this school. It's helped me out a lot to stay motivated for school and I got help when I needed it. Now that I'm in foster care, I've been moved around from different schools and have really gotten behind in my credits. I know that the staff in the past year have changed from Horizons since I have been there and I am hoping that I can come back and enroll in the school on time to catch up on my credits. I love this school and well take up any chance to come back.
