About This School
Bullfrogs & Butterflies Child Care Center Reviews
We love this school! My son started at the school at age 4. Upon entering the school he did not know his letters by sight, 6 months in, he is wring sight words and can name a random letter. His math skill have also gone from non exsistaint to simple addition. We had to move, I just hope that his new school is as good.
Two of my children have gone to Bullfrogs and Butterflies. It is a good school, my kids are well taken care of. It's very hard to find a place where you can drop off your kids and feel at ease about going to work all day. They do sign language with the toddlers which really helped my son with speech delays. Sometimes my kids don't want to go home at the end of the day, they love the teachers and other kids, it is like a family.
Love the center
My now 1st grader went to Bullfrogs and Butterflies for about 3 years, when we had our second baby last summer, we put him in the school because we had such a good experience there. We feel that he is cared for very well and we have always liked the friendly atmosphere. I always feel that I can talk to the staff about my child and they are very helpful.
IRRESPONSIBLE: I agree completely with concerned parent. This facility and its staff are completely irresponsible. We have been told that my grandson has bitten another child twice now. He does not do this at home. However, he has come home with a scraped nose, bites, and scratches but the staff never seem to know how he got them. On Monday we were told he had bleach on his clothes as they had been disifencting. He did indeed have bleach marks all over the back of his pants, thank goodness he has them on and it wasn't his bare skin. Today, Thursday we were asked to pick him up early as he had diarrhea. He has been home for 2 hours now and has not had a bowel movement and seems to be fine. On the other hand, when we picked him up we were informed that 'Tri-County Health Dept.' are investigating cases of gastro at B&B's Childcare. Why are we only being informed of this now instead of when it first started and they started bleaching everything, kids included. When staff are asked for any explanations as to incidents they are very defensive and will only reply in a non-commital way. This is just the latest in a series of negative incidents at this childcare, maybe it's time to put in an official complaint to the State.
