jane Buitron: Great school when I attended. They offer classes in trade skills if you want to pursue that direction instead of college. Wonderful school spirit, go orange and blue! I learned alot in this school, not only academics but socially how to get along with my peers.

DHS is what you make of it. If you choose to be racist you miss out on a lot of awesome people. When every other student comes from a different part of the world, so much life is brought to the classroom. Teachers range from really terrible to life-changing, but I found that my worse teachers are young and still learning. The variety of classes and clubs gives you the freedom to create your own unique experience.
The school is definitely overcrowded and it gets claustrophobic. Bathrooms are nasty, but the custodial staff works hard!!
