What is it?
The Connecticut Mastery Test (CMT) are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students are assessed in reading, writing and math in grades 3 through 8.
How is it Scored?
Students are scored at one of five levels, 1 being the lowest and level 5 the highest. A score at or above level 3 is considered proficient, however the goal is for all students to score at or above level 4.

I love West Shore! I feel like I learn and the teacher's aren't just throwing words at me. The school is safe, there is little to no bullying in my grade. I love West Shore and I am not looking foward to leaving in eighth grade!
