About the CMT
What is it?
The Connecticut Mastery Test (CMT) are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students are assessed in reading, writing and math in grades 3 through 8.
How is it Scored?
Students are scored at one of five levels, 1 being the lowest and level 5 the highest. A score at or above level 3 is considered proficient, however the goal is for all students to score at or above level 4.

Jose: Why is there such a high staff turn over? I would think if the school is so good the staff would remain. Most of my teachers aren't even at the school anymore.
