Harbor School
Muriel Gruskin Sandler: I received my elementary school education at Harbor School in the 1950 's. It is not just with fondness that I remember everything about the school building, teachers, and classes, but also the lessons we received in etiquette, caring for one another, once in a lifetime event of watching from window in Miss Boylan's 4th grade classroom the launching of the USS Nautilus, the Harbor Beacon, Memorial Day Parade to honor our soldiers and country and Mr. Hall's emphatic reminder to not walk on the grass. Friendships were made and have lasted all these years. It was wonderful and I truly hope that the legend has continued.

The Connecticut Mastery Test (CMT) are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
