Sterling Community School Reviews

I am looking to move back home.My family of educators would march into a school,as atax payer, parent and person believing children desire the best. Those in education are hired by the community. Therefore,if something in the best interest of the childrens education is not being done then time to call the board of ed,if not in your community then in the Hartford ct board of education and get others together to make a positive change for your future american "the Kids".If the dear lord wants me there my child will have the best! Good luck for now sterling the wonderful community that you are!

My children both attended Sterling School System, I am very pleased with the teachers that my kids had, however I think the administration is the worst I have ever had to deal with. There is a great deal of  dishonesty within the administration and problems are not solved and the principal will tell you what you want to hear and tell a different story to someone else. I have also found that going to the BOE is a valuable waste of time, they are not willing to work with parents and they do not follow up with issues. Again, the teachers are excellent, but the morale amongst the teachers is poor due to administrative issues. Work needs to be done on the inside. The new building is beautiful, but if the people inside are unhappy the building means nothing.
