Michele Burton: My 13 1/2 yr. old went to Lombardy for K-3Rd grade during . I started out very happy, because I knew he was in great hands from the school bus driver, Administrators, Teaching staff, Cafeteria ladies, and costodians. By his 2Nd yr., 1St grade, we were blessed with another dedicated and professional Principal, Mrs. Sharps! I was happy when he graduated from the 3Rd grade, but very upset that my younger son would not be old enough to attend until the shcool year 2008-2009 for "K"; I honestly felt like I was moving far away from my immediate family. Every single teacher, and the principal, knew my son so well, that I went to them for advice; and they knew if another child tried to lie on him, he would not get in trouble; because all the teachers that I became close to, knew every single one of their students; from personality, who needed to be pushed, who they could talk to & reason with, who needed to be sent for more one-on-one quidance etc... I cannot speak highly enough about Lombardy! God forbid, if we had to move to Pa or NJ, I would find a way to get a job back in N. Wilm. and make sure that my 1st grader will finish his years at Lombardy Elementary!
It's similar to choosing to take your honeymoon to Figi or Bora Bora or your 2Nd choice would be Wildwood, NJ (BLAHHH!!!!). You just do not know what you and your family are missing if your children could benefit from attending LOMBARDY ELEMENTRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
