jrussell430: My take on Takoma begins with Principal Taylor. She inherited a lot on her plate from the beginning of her tenure. My hat off to the rest of the staff as well. In spite of the "No Child Left Behind" problem, there, I am encouraged by Principal Taylor's can do spirit and have every confidence that she will lead our children from the "wilderness" that plagues so many DC students. However, it is up to us, the parents, to lend every support we can muster to this and other schools. The children are the only future we have and we MUST rally behind them and the educators to bring about successful change. There is something special about Takoma and that can be enhanced!
