Phelps Career School Reviews
The time of my life in high school
Phelps vocational high school it what it was called back in the early 70's when I graduated in 1972, I think I was 5 on the graduation list. But, what a great school it was, as I major in the landscaping and horticulture. We had wonderful teacher, Mr, Louis, Mr Junal and Mr Taylor as well as and assistance teacher, Mr Brown. At the time, our building was the most newest on campus, with state of the art supplies. I love going to off campus work and learn projects and viewing trips to the local national arboretum. My skill earn there, lead me and some 5 other students to job at the local Sears store, working in the garden department of which I remain with the company for some 20 years, until 1992. But, my knowledge from Phelps, still is with me, as my green thumb is still at work here at home and in friends and family yards at my youthful age of 62
This is one of the best schools in the metro area. I've attended this school over 25 years ago and still today I remeber its landscaping program! I wish I can recall the teaher name at the time! but I've learned so much about Poinsettias and other designs. Though, I dont care for getting dirty... I'm stll asked to design yards. I just want to say Thank you for the Skills.
