I have loved being part of the Apopka High School. The band parents are so engaged and the football team won the state championship this year. My daughter benefited greatly from the medical magnet. She now is planning to be a nurse because of the experience.

Apopka High is a great school. Educators are involved and caring. Students are given a variety of opportunities to suit their needs and learning level. Counselors are very responsive. My daughter is part of the newspaper staff and truly enjoys that experience. It may even turn out to be her career. I already remember, that no matter what, school is what you make of it. If you put in the effort it will pay off. And AHS has proven that.

i think APK is the school of the year! i dont care wat anybody says! my sis goes there aan it has lots of opportunities for all of the students. and they hav great athletics an trainers. if anyone says anything bad bout APK, they mite be takin bout another school! A!!!!!!!P!!!!!!!!K!!!!!!!!!

I think Apopka is a good school but the fights can get out of hand that teachers,adminstrator or security cannot handle many gangs and bully of every race.

I think that AHS is a school with many opportunities! As long as you are willing to utilize all it has to offer, you will succeed. I graduated from AHS in 2002..
