Carlos E. Haile Middle School Reviews
Decent School but communication is lacking
Our child started 6th grade this year as a transfer after we moved. She was in a well rounded middle school before and we were eager to have her still achieve the same high standards of excellence here at Haile. Although, she did well and we feel that her academics remained solid, communication at the school is severely lacking. The website is rarely updated and very hard to navigate. There is no information about all the sports that are offered at the school, nor did my daughter get any information when she first started. It seems as though, if you don't know, they don't tell when it comes to extracurricular activities. They certainly don't promote them. This comes as a surprise since we hear about how great the athletics are. Overall, we are happy but hope that a new principal can take what they are lacking and improve upon it.
The faculty members at this school are nice and helpful to the students and teachers.
My daughter (a military child) got straight A's in 7th grade in all regular classes. This year she is in advanced classes and she is still carrying straight A's. She enjoys a comfortable learning environment and doesn't have to deal with behavioral issues from other students that are so prevalent in most schools these days. She seems very motivated to do well and I have to believe a great deal of that can be attributed to the teachers at this school.
I would highly recommend Carlos E Haile Middle School to anyone thinking of moving into this area. As a military family that moves a lot I admittedly was only concerned with high schools - which is the sole reason I chose this area and I was pleasantly surprised with the Middle and Elementary schools here too. I work in Pinellas County - and do not recommend any of the schools there. I attended school there years ago and it's only gotten worse.
Its a great school to be in. The teachers and environment here are very nice. I hope to one day have kids that will attend this school!
Carlos E. Haile Middle School is a great school. It has a great education program as well as an arts program. When it comes to a good education i will only settle until i get the best. My child has been to many schools and this one is by far the best!!!!!!
This school has provided my child with a great learning experience. s
She went to many schools in the past and this was by far the best one. To any parents that have just moved to Manatee county and looking for a good middle school i would definitely give Haile Middle School a try!
This school has a very good arts department. I am currently on the Adv. dance team there and its great.
