I have been a teacher in our area schools for 30 years, so I know exactly what's out there. Do not waste your money by having your child brainwashed by the twisted Scientology cult. There are some very good quality private schools in Pinellas County & this is not one of them! If your child is in this school, I reccomend pulling them & getting them far away from this heretical science fiction!  RUN!  If need be, put them in public school while you find the right fit & just become the actively involved parent. By the way, Clearwater High School is one of the best high schools in Pinellas County with a great staff & lots of opportunities. I wouldn't hesitate to proudly put my child in that school & I was raised in a local private school. Before you enroll your child in a public school, check to see if it's a priority school. Priority schools are usually the ones with the most problems, so you might want to avoid them. Excellent Elementary Schools= Frontier, Plum, Orange grove, Garrison Jones, Anona, Sunset Hills, Azona. Excellent Middle Schools= Oak Grove, Seminole, Carwise.  Excellent High Schools= Clearwater High, St Petersburg High   Excellent Privat Schools=Shorecrest Prep, Keswick, St Pete Christian, Calvary Christian, Northside Christian, & tons more in our area.
