Crestview High School Reviews

By a Current Student on

The school is great, contrary to the last review. I do not believe the school is bad. Yes it is crowded, but that's just something we as students have to deal with. And since it's crowded, that means that there are more people to interact with. Teachers do what they can, they can't remember every single student out of the 125 or more they see a day in class. If a student is having problems, he/she should take the responsibility to deal with it or get help from a teacher, parent, or counselor. It's a very safe school and it's a great environment to learn in. There are loads and loads of extracurricular activities, sports, and clubs to participate and get involved in. There's no reason why any student should not enjoy this school. And the last review said "It really stinks  for these kids that have to rely on walking or other means of transportation because there is a 2 mile zone that buses are not available." and okay, big deal. I walk to and from school every day, it doesn't bother me one bit. It'll get the kid exercise to walk every day, and if that's a problem the student can get a ride. I don't care who you are, it's not hard to find one. But like I said, it's a wonderful school and I absolutely love it.

I think personaly that the kids at Crestview High School are not treated nice at all. They treat them like its a prison there the school is way over crowded just walking in the schools is down right scary its like a mob of students. The teachers dont attempt to notify parents at all if the child is falling behind on thier grades until its too late to help bring the grades up? They suspend kids for being 1 minute late if they are tardy 6 days out of 365 days a year the Tardy Policy is way to harsh I think after school suspention would be effiecient. It really stinks  for these kids that have to rely on walking or other means of transportation because there is a 2 mile zone that buses are not available. This used to be a great school until the new principal got there. I feel high school kids should be treated with more respect I beleive in the policy want respect then give respect.
