Walker Elementary School Reviews
I was thrilled about my first son’s kindergarten year at Walker. If you are lucky enough to get Mrs. Campbell then you have nothing to worry about, your child is in great hands and your children will love her. The P.E. teacher is also very energetic and a great motivator. Like anything there is also bad. The next year, both my children were stuck with teachers that appeared to be uninformative with parents, and disengaged with the children. I was so spoiled with Mrs. Campbell that I thought they were at a different school. The principal claimed that the teachers were good based on the occasional walkthrough she performed (who doesn’t step things up in front of their boss). I feel like my second son missed out on an exciting kindergarten experience and a great learning experience. We are hoping to win the lottery again and get good teachers this year, but sadly Walker appears to be a lottery.
Not satisfied with some of the teachers and absolutely not satisfied with the principal. Have found some diamonds in the rough though. Appreciate the hard work and dedication of 2 teachers there. They have really made a difference for my children. I GIVE THE SCHOOL A 6/10.
I think this is one of the best elementary schools we have in this area.
Very bless for my daughter to go here\.
