Gloria Dei Lutheran Academy

My toddler attended Gloria Dei 2 years ago. We liked the values the school was portraying, and it was a short drive from my workplace. My son attended for a few months but then we had to move. Our problems started soon after we informed the school we were leaving. Whereas the school teachers are great, the administration is not up to par. When we left, we paid all our dues, and got verbal confirmation all was paid. Two months later, we received a letter stating that money was still due. We called, and they explained it was a mistake, and not to worry. But now, 2 years later, we suddenly get a letter from a collector hired by Gloria Dei ... we called Gloria Dei but they refused to talk to us ("talk to the collector"). Because we had no "written" proof that we paid all, we were forced to double-pay and pay the collector after 2 years. Unfortunately, we have heard the same complaints from other parents around the administration of the school. Great teachers, but please get everything on paper and signed.
