Orchard View Elementary School Reviews
School review 2014
I moved here from the Midwest where my children went to A rated schools and never complained and always were learned and happy. Since they have attended this school I have heard nothing but negative comments of teachers being out of control in the class room and rude and mean. I went to my daughters classroom in kindergarten to find the kids playing sward with the sisers among many other things in this class. I found the whole class to be very disruptive and a poor unorganized environment for learning. The people at the front are just as unorganized and rude with the parents, they have very poor communication skills and no passion for there vocation or children's learning or future. They never know where anything is and DO NOT go above and beyond the call of duty for the children or the parents. I went to pick my kids up for early pick up and asked them to prepare the kids from there classes and they told me there was no one to watch the kids in the school as 6 of them were sitting in the office talking about getting Wendy's for lunch. I'm sorry but this behavior is unacceptable in my viewpoint. As I was very upset with there disorganized system. They sent this arrogant principle out to defend there lazy and bad behavior saying this is there policy, I guess to be unhelpful and rude and disorganized is in there policy. She begins to challange me in front of the children now. Which was very unprofessional. I told her I was done talking as her and three others chance me out the front door still continuing to tell me abou why they don't think they should know how to do there job. The absolute worst expire be I have ever had in any school. If I behaved with people in my job the way these people tarted my children and myself as a parent I would be fired on the spot! I think the people that our tax dollars pay to educate our children should be held to a higher standard. Needless to say, I will not be sending my children to return there and for the sake of others who move here to Delray beach for various reasons I hope you consider the expirence.
Its very good school,my daughter is in grade 1,she has learned a lot and she is very happy over there.Very organised, proffessional, good manners, hard working staff and good grades.
