I work at this school and I find it to be a very welcoming atmosphere. Every faculty member and employee really seems to be interested in the students' success and well-being. Everyone is kind to each other and when I was new I never felt like an outsider. The facility is clean and well-kept. It is a beautiful campus and if I had an elementary child I would be proud to send him/her to Sunrise Elementary.

Today I was going to Drop off my daugther at Sunrise and had to go to the back enterance because I had to go to the front office and talk to them as well as the person who runs after school care, Well the teacher at the gate Ms. Delp let someone go thru then stop me and was so rude I really couldn't believe it specially cuz she was my daugthers teacher last year. Anyway after sending me to the front loop where theres no parking and I said something to the (P) he said she was wrong and now backed up traffic. I tried to tell her that I even went to this school and I know how it works,  So then I had to go all the way around again and then she tried to stop me again and walked right out infront of me. Then as Im pulling away finally getting thru she laughing and smiling, I really cant believe how rude she was and they really need to get rid of people like that. It kinda make you wonder if they can treat you like that how do they treat your kid while they are there all day with them and maybe that's why Sunrise is a failing school

HaleyHenslee: I was always pretty miserable at this school...most of the teachers were mean...the only teachers i likes were mrs.ahr and mrs.verdie...they took away our playground and we had to play on the tiny one!

MadelynReyes: Sunrise Elementary has been one of the best Schools I know. My granddaughters, they are both in the School. And I can not be more grateful. With the Teachers from Kinder to 4Th Grade.
I have to say that as a Grandmother I am very over protective with my eleven Grand kids, and one thing Mrs.Anderson taught me last year with my Grand daughter Keyshaeni is that I can leave her with her, Mrs. Anderson and she is with family, she is kind, generous, sensible, affective and I can keep on. I am very thankful for the help and the kindness of all the Teachers, that my grand kids Nizza Marrero and Keyshaeni Perez-Martinez, have been touched by Angels in Sunrise Elementary School. Thank you, Madelyn Reyes,407-257-3445
