My son feels the same way.  Especially at lunch and PE.  Trying to get him moved to another school.

I am thinking of pulling my child out of this school. This is our first year there and it already scares me. He has already been in a fight. Every day when he comes home from school he tells me about another fight he saw. I do not feel my son is safe here! The police that walk around I feel gives parents a false sense of security. They say they keep 6th,7th and 8th graders away from each other and they never interact. That is so not true. For some reason all the people that have befriended my child are 8th graders. I have been told they are pressuring him to smoke pot and try pills. This is absurd. Why is no one doing anything in this school to get it in order?
