About This School
Magnet schools are public schools that offer a specialized curriculum or educational philosophy, often with a specific focus or theme. Magnet schools promote student diversity because they are open to students outside the normal school district boundaries and often attract high caliber students through competitive programs. Driftwood Middle School Reviews
Driftwood is my second home and my friends and teachers are my other family. I only have amazing memories that I've experienced there. I'm currently in High School, and if I could, I would go back in a heartbeat. I miss the teachers and staff so much! They all work hard to make sure the students succeed. And because of their effort, and the students' hard work, Driftwood was the #1 school of Broward County with the top FCAT scores. That was in 2011 when I graduated. I couldn't be more proud to say that I went to Driftwood Middle all three years and it was absolutely wonderful.
My daughter will be going to that school and almost everyone is telling me not to send her there. I'm trying my best to send her to Pioneer Middle School
I find the staff to be very rude, seems that they have no listening skills at all. When I am there to pick up my son or anything at that school you go to that front desk and wow, frustrated, stressed, extremely rude people - I have yet to find any positive thing to say about this school- I get the strong feeling that they have no real concern for the children, and it is very apparent they resist any type of communication with parents. My son has just 3 months left at this school and I have to say I am very HAPPY for him to be leaving- **

My son was bullied after school and sent to the hospital. The school or the Hollywood police department within the school did nothing to prevent this from happening again. I was stuck with a hospital bill for over $500. This is my review for the school.
